It wasn’t until July 16th that USA’s diva and most valued female artist Beyonce made official on her social media handle and social network a couple of African artists she will be working with pertaining to her upcoming project_Album The LION KING: The Gift.

Why hosting or featuring African artists?

She captions it as her open letter to Africa , she has as a goal to find the best talents from Africa not just by using some of the sounds and give her interpretation to it, she wanted it to be authentic about what is beautiful about the music in Africa”. She takes into consideration the drums, the chants incredible new sounds makes what some of the producers from American came together to create their own genre and the sound track becomes visual in the mind and its the sound scape is more than just the music because each song tells the story of the film. One can tactfully summarise her plan of action as a tribute to the 2019 Movie ‘LION KING’.

Who are those really involved?

With regards to her 14 track Album she has a host of American and African artists who will jump right on it to dish out their own expertise musically. Cameroon’s best producer ‘Salatiel’ has a role to play

We can’t help but notice a great deal of African artists who have roles to play in terms of collaborations with American artists and single entitled tracks. We equally observe Cameroon’s best producer, song writer and artist at the moment by name Salatiel popularly known as High man General evidently underlined above. He will be working on track 07 of the Album titled ‘Water’ along side Pharrell Williams and the diva Beyonce herself.

All in all we are looking forward to better experiences as Beyonce’s decides to open her door for African talents, its worth mentioning that Salatiel was spotted out of merit through his songs ‘One day na one day’ and ‘Toi et moi’.
